Dean Inserra, The Well’s founding and senior pastor, has had a calling on his life since he was the student body president at Leon High School to start a church in his hometown of Tallahassee. Dean’s desire is to lead a church that connects with the needs of his generation and the college campuses of Tallahassee which are very skeptical to any type of organized religion. He has a degree in Biblical Studies from Liberty University and also attended Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Dean has served as a Youth Minister in Tallahassee and regularly speaks at campus organizations at Florida State University.

Dean married his wife Krissie in December 0f 2003. Krissie is from Ft. Lauderdale and a graduate of Florida State. Their first son, Tommy, was born in August of 2006, and their second son, Ty, was born in May of 2010.
